I needed to swap my order for a different size, it was way less stressful than I expected. I emailed ROA Hiking and got a clear response back, maybe not instantly, but definitely soon enough that I wasn’t left wondering what was going on.

I sent the item back, and the replacement showed up without any confusing extra steps or back-and-forth. It’s such a relief when something like an exchange just works the way it should, and I really appreciated that.

I picked up a pair of ROA hiking shoes, and so far they’ve been really solid. I tend to notice patterns in how shoes wear in, and these gave a good first impression: tough-feeling materials, neat stitching, and no weird weak spots I could see. They handled wet paths better than I expected too. They were a little stiff at the start, but after a few walks they loosened up and felt much more comfortable

I’ve been wearing these for little hikes, rainy days, and just running errands around town, and they’ve been reeeally easy to throw on for pretty much anything.

I ordered something from ROA Hiking and the item itself was totally fine, so that wasn’t really the issue. It was the return side of things that got annoying. I couldn’t get a clear answer right away and had to follow up a couple times, which made the whole thing feel more drawn out than it needed to be.

The refund also took longer than I expected, and by that point I was just kind of over it. It’s not like it was a terrible experience or anything, but for the price and all that, I thought it would be a bit more straightforward

I ordered the size I usually wear, and fit me pretty much perfect it did. No strange tight spots or anything, and the shoes felt true to size. I’m happy with them.

The prices on roa-hiking.com seemed fair to me. Like, it’s not the cheapest stuff out there, but the quality makes the price feel reasonable. I looked around at a few other sites before ordering, and this one just felt like a solid deal. Also, there weren’t any weird extra charges at checkout, so yeah, I’d give it 5 stars.

I picked up a pair from Roa and wore them for a full day hike, and they were really comfortable. Usually my feet are sore by the end, but these felt good the whole time and didn’t need much breaking in. They feel sturdy without being too stiff, which I really like. The only thing I noticed was the laces loosened up a bit after a while — has anyone else had that happen? Overall though, I’m happy with them so far.

The packaging was way better than I expected. The box was super sturdy, and the shoes arrived with zero marks, dents, or anything wrong with them. I’m completely sure they couldn’t have been packed any safer. Really happy with how everything showed up

I’ve been noticing that hiking shoes in this price range usually either feel cheap right away or need a long break-in period, but these were a nice exception. The quality feels solid, and the price seemed fair for what you’re getting. So far, they seem like a good value...

I’ve had my ROA boots for a few weeks now i keep noticing little things I like about them. The stitching is super clean, the sole feels tough without being clunky, and just overall nothing about them feels cheap or rushed. You can kind of tell when a brand actually paid attention to the details, and these definitely have that feeling. So far I’m happy with them, and I’m curious to see how they break in over time

I’ve only worn them a bit so far, but my feet definitely seemed to stay cool the whole time. They feel really breathable, and I’m sure they’ll be great for warmer days.

I only really poked around the design side of the site. Didn’t go too deep or anything. But first impression, it’s clean. Calm layout, easy to move around, nothing felt cluttered. Just a nice, simple browsing experience

I really do like the way these shoes look, but the arch support just didn’t work for me. It’s not even about them being uncomfortable right away, because they felt fine at first, but after a short walk my feet were already tired and a little sore. For the price, I expected them to be more supportive. I ended up having to put in my own insoles to make them wearable

I really liked how these shoes looked right out of the box, so I was hoping they’d be great for day hikes. But after about an hour of walking, they started feeling heavy on my feet. I kept wondering if it was just me, because I expected them to feel a bit easier to wear for longer stretches.

They might be totally fine for short walks or casual use, and maybe other people won’t mind the weight as much. For the price, though, I guess I was expecting something more comfortable for longer outings. They’re not awful, just probably not the right fit for me
